Saturday was the day the last ferry of the Norfolkline left our harbour of Scheveningen (The Hague). Norfolk has been sailing from Scheveningen to Folkstowe for over 40 years. Yesterday they moved to Vlaardingen (Rotterdam). And because we didn't want to let this event pass in silence we organized an event (we is a few architects in The Hague with nostalgic feelings for the blue ships of Norfolk). We had a little exhibition in the harbour and a grand sail out parade with lots of boats following the last ferry. The firebrigade was on the piers on both sides as a goodbye.
