Many people, including some native Arizonans, assume land
near the Mexican border would be a flat, dusty desert.
Several mountain ranges in Southeast Arizona go to 10,000 feet,
are heavily forested, and run straight into and over the international border.
The mountain pictured is probably about 6800 feet, and stands about 15 miles from the border.
