Winter this year, 2009 - 2010 has visited the Philadelphia area with a vengeance. It started in late December with a 21" snowfall, which quickly washed away over the holidays. January was cold but mostly snow free. Then in early February the snow returned big time. Back to back snow storms, three days apart, started on February 7th dumping first 22" followed by another 32" of snow. By a wide margin Philadelphia has eclipsed it's all time recorded snowfall, which now stands at 72" and counting. These are a few cabin fever pictures taken during these storms.
Once again, on the 26th of February, Philadelphia was given one last (We Hope) punch from old man winter. The area was blanketed with an additional 5.6" of wet snow, bringing this record year total to 78.7" of snow. Added a few more pictures of the recent storm.
