Cattail - spreading seed in the wind.

Silver Lake Nature Center, Bristol, PA

At Silver Lake Cattails are making a nice recovery.
Since the return of Beaver and their dams, the swamp areas are holding more water.
The Cattails are spreading and replacing the unwanted invasive Purple Loosestrife.
