In the early morning of April 16th a serious storm that produced 3 inches of rain in 3 hours engulfed the area.
This is the flood water flowing over the dam in Tyler State Park.
The dam which is normally visible and about 4 or 5 feet high is under the smooth water at the right side of the photo.
This is the same storm that greeted my Canadian friends with serious snow on Sunday.
