Canyon de Chelly National Monument, Arizona

Archeological evidence suggests that people have lived in these canyons for nearly 5000 years. The house ruins were built in more recent time - about 1000 years ago by ancient Puebloan people. I took a private jeep tour to see the ruins on a very foggy day.
