I got your business card at the SF tattoo convention this year and dropped in to see if you had added the photos yet. Since they aren't up yet I took a look around and I must say your work is excellent. I'm looking forward to joining your gallery.

Hello Bill

I am a photographic artist working in the UK, hoping to involve you in a collaborative piece of art-work, I work to create photo-collage landscapes, which you can see on www.vanillagalleries.com. I am based in Loughborough and will be working alongside Charnwood Arts Council, a charitable arts and education organisation.

This project is part of a programme to work with schools on photography collage projects. I hope to create a cross –cultural composite landscape combining images of Loughborough and Asia (provided by photographers from around the world). It is this stage of the project that I am hoping to involve you in. The second stage of the project will be a photography portraiture workshop with a group of school children, and then get them to collage their images into the landscape. The final result will be a composite image of the landscape and a crowd scene made up of the students photographs. A print of this will then be gifted to the school.

This is not a commercial project and therefore we cannot offer you any financial payment for use of images but as photographic artists you may be interested in seeing your work used in this way. However, we will be happy to post a secure high res copy of the image for you to download when it is completed.

Charnwood Arts also runs a small gallery space and an annual photographic competition, which you may also be interested in. The web link for the Pixel and grain project is pixelandgrain.co.uk

I particularly liked the image 'Cremation Ghat no. 2' however if you would preffer to contribute another image then the requirements are as follows :-

That the light is reasonably flat.
Taken from ground level to maintain a similar perspective.
To have architectural elements.
To be no larger than 10MB in size, but also as near to that size as possible.

For copyright purposes we require you to agree that your portion of the image can be used. Full acknowledgement of your contribution be given. We realise this is an unusual request and should you wish to contact me further please don’t hesitate to contact me by email. If you do decide to take part i will give you an ftp address to send the image to, I look forward to hearing from you,

Many thanks

Helen Saunders

Hi, Bill Katie, and Tyler! I just rediscovered your e-mail giving us your gallery website. It is great to have the option of looking at your fantastic photos whenever we want. However, we really loved being there with you this summer to share them in person. We had a great time! Thank you again! Rob has just gotten back from a visit with Sandy and Larry AND your parents. He just threw in the Home Builder's Convention in the middle of the week for a change of pace. We're busy with work, remodeling, and church committees. Well, it's time for a good night's sleep. Take care. Love, Sharon
