These images are from a two week trip during September 2010. Cuba is a fascinating place, with many contradictions, incredible photo opportunities and above all, very warm people. Their capital is a copy of ours, yet a few feet taller, so there is the possibility to show a familiar icon with different surroundings such as palm trees, rickshaws, horse carts and 1950s cars. Havana is a city of over 2 million people yet there are not many cars, so few in fact that there is never a traffic jam nor any difficulty crossing streets any time of day. The images posted so far are only from a few of the days that I have had a chance to sort, so stay tuned.
