Macro zoom is incredible--great shots Scott. I head for Moab in 6 hours for the 9th GSW. You're about due for a trip to Moab too, aren't you? It's been 6 years since your first, last and only GSW. If you leave Tuesday you'll make the start of it Friday. And you'll get lots of nice shots there too.
Gail, my dog spooked it, but it's a good guy. Black snakes kill mice and voles and we have plenty of the latter. They're welcome in my garden any time. ;-)
