This morning I decided to grab my camera as I went off to work hoping that the fog outside might make for some moody shots. I scoped-out a couple spots close to our home, but there just wasn't a shot that jumped out at me. So into work I went by way of Lake Monona. As I drove past the park, I saw a few people playing next to the lake as the sun came up. I thought that there may be a photo op - so I stopped.

I am glad that I did. The photo I am posting today is of a mom and her son as they play on the shoreline. Now, I didn't know this mother and was concerned that she may not be happy about a stranger snapping photos of her child. I approached her and asked permission and she was very open to it and requested I send her copies of a couple of the shots. I hope she is happy with the results. I am.
