The Iraqis may be free from Saddam, but Iraq is far from a happy eutopia where every day is a walk in the park. It's in a civil war between two extremist sects of islam. People in Iraq are afraid to walk the streets at night, or even at day for fear that they might get shot by an extremist of the other sect. It wasn't like that when Saddam was in power. He may have been a cruel dictator, but HE KEPT PEOPLE IN LINE! Our invasion did not fix Iraq, it made it worse. Bush didn't go into Iraq to protect our freedom, he went in because the oil companies paid him to. And for those of you who think that protesting is unpatriotic, read the First Amendment of the Constitution. People go into the army to protect our right to protest. Protesting is patriotic. The reason the extremists hate us anyway is because we sent our troops into their holy land when Bush Sr. was president. And don't call me an evil liberal for saying this either, because I'm a moderate. I am Very pro-Second Amendment and I do not believe in abortion. However, I am also a straight who supports gay-rights and racial equality. But then, i believe that the wealthy should have higher tax rates than the poor, and I cannot for the life of me see why the right-wing conservatives living in poverty do not agree with me on the last political topic I just mentioned, seeing as how they're willing to pay higher taxes than the rich corporations that Bush works for. And of course a liberal there would just raise taxes for everyone.

The Iraq war has been good for Iraqi's. THEY ARE FREE now. If it takes another 3000 more dead american soldiers then bring it on, for FREEDOM! It's made the world a better place for all us FREE people. All these bleeding heart liberals were wrong, it's been a huge success for American pride! Thankyou George Bush for fixing Iraq. You can see how much the Iraqi's are thankful for our great work, they love us like we love you! What's all this bullshit about global warming anyway, I aint giving up my humvee for commies!!! It's over, face it your side lost. I know it’s gotta be rough for you right now. Hey, we’ve all been there. “You lose” are two horrible words when put together in that order. Bin Laden surfacing this weekend to reminded the American people of why Bush is needed as president was a cruel trick or treat. But there he was. 3,000 people were killed and the president was the only choice to defend us. Our Special Forces are going after him? Why did your side forget about bin Laden on the DAY AFTER 9/11, the American people did'nt. There he was, Michael Moore, all fat and rested with his videotape Army (hey, did you get the feeling that he had nothing in Florida or Ohio to videotape?) Speaking of his stupid movie - can I ask you a personal question before we part ways for good on Wednesday? Did you and your friends really think that piece of crap would help Kerry win? The people are much smarter than that. What a waste of your time and resources! Sure, I know what your pollsters told you, that the film had convinced some people to vote your side in. I really can't see how any true Americans can vote for this scum. This quote is actually from April 17th of 1994 on CNN's Late Edition. This is back when Frank Sesno hosted the program. This is the third paragraph of the story in the Washington Post today by Helen Dewar and Thomas Ricks. KERRY: "It depends what you mean by that, Frank. If you mean dying in the course of the United Nations effort, yes, it is worth that. If you mean dying American troops unilaterally going in with some false presumption that we can affect the outcome, the answer is unequivocally no." (this is all about Bosnia when Clinton went in without the United Nations) So John Kerry thinks that American troops dying under the American flag is not justified, and is not worthwhile, but under the UN flag, then of course American deaths are justified. Kerry thinks that American deaths under the UN banner are permissible and honorable, American deaths under American flag only are not. This is the one place where his position does not change with the global test and wanting the UN to have veto powers over what we do. He wants us to be subordinates to the UN. He flip flops on everything else but the UN. He will consistently put the United Nations above the safety of our country.

Unreal. An advance item in the Early Briefing from Bulletin News Network on John Kerry’s interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer reveals yet another flip-flop of goliath proportions. When asked whether the war in Iraq was worth it, Kerry reportedly responded, “We should not have gone to war, knowing the information we know today.” ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? The Yak reminds faithful readers of John Kerry’s August 9, 2004 remark at the edge of the Grand Canyon. When asked whether he would support the war “knowing what we now know,” Kerry replied, “Yes, I would have voted for the authority. I believe it was the right authority for a president to have.” What does John Kerry know today that he didn’t know six-and-a-half weeks ago other than his numbers have tanked?

If there’s one similarity between Iraq and Vietnam it’s the disgusting behavior by the Left: A candlelight vigil took place Wednesday night to remember U.S. war dead in Iraq during the week of the 1,000th casualty. One North Texas family, whose relative – Chad Drake – was killed outside Baghdad Monday, was among the mourners at Dallas City Hall Plaza. The vigil, though, turned abrasive toward the family members, according to a family friend. The friend sent an e-mail message to NBC 5 News that described the treatment some vigil attendees directed at the family. Drake’s mother was “harassed and yelled at, booed and hissed, told her son died for nothing,” the message read. Drake’s mother reportedly left the event in tears. The family attended the vigil because they thought it was meant to honor U.S. casualties. The event was organized by the Dallas Peace Center, which opposes the war. - NBC5 Chad Drake was killed just three days ago: Spc. Chad H. Drake, 23, of Garland, Texas, died Sept. 7 in Baghdad, Iraq, when his patrol vehicle came under attack by enemy forces using small arms fire. Drake was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
