These are a few pictures of a trip that Jan and I took to Vietnam in October 2008. We had the inside track because our daughter-in-law, Ruby, is Vietnamese, and we were invited to attend her youngest brother's wedding in Saigon. After the wedding we traveled throughout Vietnam for almost three weeks, from Hanoi and Ha Long Bay in the north, to Hue and Hoi An on the central coast and finally back to Saigon and the Mekong Delta in the south. It is an economic engine starting to roar that shortly will be a player on the World stage, and full of friendly people and motor scooters. We loved our time in Vietnam.
