Sunset over Burns Lake

Burns Lake, BC

Riding west of Smithers, BC on Highway 16, I could see a wall of smoke ahead. As I approached the town of Burns Lake, there were helicopters ferrying water to a nearby fire. The smoke was thick and the odor pungent.
