Overview of the UNESCO World Heritage site at 8,000' in the Peruvian Andes. Often known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, this city was built by the Inca Civilization in the 15th century, then abandoned. It was re-discovered in 1911 and is now a major tourist destination.
