Certain films like Elite Chrome 100 and 200 capture h-alpha (red) emissions very well. Compare this to the previous photo of Orion, where the D70's IR filter effectively blocks most h-alpha. The semicircular red loop to the left is Barnard's Loop and the large circular nebula at the top of Orion's head (Meissa) is Sh2-264.
