When I got to the park I found that the parking lot had been totally cleared of snow and that the park was open. I got out of the car and spent about 10 minutes looking around and enjoying the view. The air temp. was about -10C but no wind. Perfect for what I wanted to do. In the spring I do intend on hiking to the bottom of the falls for a different perspective that just does not seem possible in the winter months. If will have to wait until spring.
