We celebrated by daughters "Sweet 16" birthday by taking her and three of her friends to Anime North, which was held at the Toronto Congress Center May 22-24, 2009. My wife and I had a great time too as we stayed at the nearby Crown Plaza which was just a 10 minute walk away. Most of the costumes worn to the convention were hand made by the individuals wearing them. The quality, craftmanship and imagination was nothing short of impressive. Everybody wanted their pictures taken. Once they saw me coming they would quite often pose without asking. A great time was had by one and all.
