Fields of Gold

Throughout late summer and fall Goldenrod is one of the most abundant flowers seen throughout the country. The images in this gallery will try to capture close up images of insect life in those vast fields of yellow. So put your sunglasses on and have a look.

As a "city kid" the world of open fields and (cool) bugs and wildlife was foreign to me...you make intimate photographs of creatures I was taught were "ugly" and to run from, and make them accessible so I can finally have a good look and see the beauty, or at least the wonder. Keeps me coming back...and obviously, commenting ;-) Thanks again.
