PHPHOTO EB -- May 1, 2004

The first official PHPHOTO EB held at DPI Photography Center last May 1, 2004!

First time to try shooting actual models with actual lights in an actual studio. Sarap pala! Comments are welcome as I really want to improve my craft.

Anyways, thanks to the organizers for a great time. Brought home a 2-in-1 camera backpack and a photography book, courtesy of Canon. More thanks -- Louie for the use of his place, Jong for canoodling Canon out of the prizes and the last minute models, Canon for the prizes, the models for doing what they do best, and Chester for the use of his IR trigger. Also, thanks to Anson, Dax and the rest of the guys for the tips.

By the way, my prayers go out to Louie. May he recover soon and completely.

The subjects in your photos look lovely and the very layout of the page(s) in the site is ok however may I suggest that you use a brighter font in order to be able to read everything more clearly. Thanks, guest! Lighting was excellent with Louie's strobe setup at DPI, so a fast lens wasn't really required.

You did an amazing job with the Kit lense..I would though u need a fast lense for low-light..like an F2.8
