We rode 26 miles round trip to Kelly lake and back from park headquaters. Started raining at the top of the first major climb (E. China Hole). Then was stormy with wind and rain until we reached Kelly Lake. I was not to enthusiastic about going on all the way but Steve convinced me I had no choice. On the way back it was a lot better; it helped to know we were over halfway done. The China Hole climb out was quite difficult, but pretty fun with great views; Steve led. It took a little bit over an hour and half to get back to the park headquarters from the bottom of China Hole. It had not rained for 2 weeks atleast prior to this ride! Great ride. Over 11 miles of backcountry single track.
