This figure is a photo of a Lazuli Bunting songbird, one of my favorites. It has not been retouched in any way, but rather distorted and changed in colors, then mirrored on itself and later mirrored again. Then I made six identical layers all the same but colored them different hues, and then linked them as in a Celtic chain. I'll post a shot of that. The rest are distortions of that chain of six rings.. go figure. It's fun, so if you have a creative bent.. give it a try.
