This is the y/m Beluga, the yacht that we were aboard for the trip. It has sleeping space for 16 passengers and a compliment of seven crew plus our Naturalist for a total of 24. She's a steel-hulled ship built in Hamburg, Germany in 1968.
I saw many of the other boats for hire down there and there were very few I saw that I liked more. If you are going to the Galapagos, I'd recommend this boat in a second.
