We left Franz Joseph Glacier and headed for Greymouth by bus. We stopped in Hokitika along the way.
Once in Greymouth, we boarded the Trans Alpine Railway for Christchurch. It rained most of the way on the train, but I did manage to catch a few shots through the train windows during some brief clear patches.
Once we got to our hotel in Christchurch, we walked around for a bit. Christ Church Cathedral right beside our hotel was still showing damage from the 2011 earthquake.
