The Norfolk (MA) Airport closed back in the '80's or maybe '90's (IIRC). The land is still privately owned. The large open field beside the runway is used for hay and bird nesting areas. There are mowed paths for dog walking (on leash) around the perimeter and on the old runway and taxiways.

Over the years there had been a couple flying schools and FBO's at the airport that eventually petered out. In the '70's the MIT flying club operated here.
