Chlorine Leak (08-10-05)

About 12:05 pm a chlorine leak occurred during the filling of a chlorine tank at the water treatment pumping station on Kimberly Road and Cotters Ln. Nearby buildings were evacuated until the County HAZMAT team brought the situation under control. Roads were closed by East Brunswick Police at Harts Ln and Kimberly Rd. and Elkins Road and Cotters Ln. until about 4:oopm.
