A commercial Building Fire occurred at 9 Elkins Rd, East Brunswick. The fire originated in a pulverizing machine and was extinguished before the arrival of the fire department. Employees were evacuated from the building and a smoke condition existed within the plant area. New Brunswick and South River Engines responded because they were on stand-by in East Brunswick because of a general alarm fire at another location within the Township.
