EAST BRUNSWICK- East Brunswick Fire Districts #1 and #2 respond to the area of the Northern Suffolk train tracks behind Country Lane park for a brush fire caused by a down PSE&G high voltage wire. The incident resulted in several temporary power outages around town until it was repaired. The East Brunswick Independent Fire Company remained on location until around 11:20pm. The NJ State Forest Service and East Brunswick Police also responded to the fire and downed high voltage wire. The railroad tracks were closed until around 11:20pm as well.
