EAST BRUNSWICK- On March 11, 2008 at about 11:00pm the Brookview Volunteer Fire Company responded to a working house fire at 251 Dunhams Corner Road. The entire front porch of the structure was engulfed upon arrival. The fire quickly spread to the rest of the house. The house was vacant and no injuries were reported. Mutual aide from surrounding towns was requested. Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Department, East Brunswick Independent Fire Company and mutual aide from surrounding towns were requested. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
