Second only to the closely related Giant Panda, as the most endangered species of bear in the world.

I know all the bears in the world, but never have I seen a Spectacled Bear with an orange face before! The Sun Bear is my favorite of all bears, before the Giant Panda! I really wish that people would stop hunting animals such as the Bengal Tiger and the Polar Bear. I care about all animals, thats why 'am going to be a vet when I grow up. And the Long-faced bear is extinct, it lived in the ice-age! names Gabrielle by the way

I love bears and its so cool getting facts about the poor spectacled bear i know all the bears from asian black bears to the giant Panda bear (which is well CUTE!) my name is hannah by the way

At school we have to do a project on extint and endagered animals we have to collect information about dinasour bones and get facts about animals at risk of extinction it is in for next week and i am printing out this pic to stick on my bear page did you know the long-faced bear is endagered

I wish all animals werent at risks of extinction but along with the Gorillas i think i care most for spactacled bears

Aww. He's orange! It's so.. exotic. I am looking for a good picture for school. In school, we are learning about bears. It's so sad that a lot of them are endangered... and the Sloth Bear is my favorite, though. I thought their face or body was going to be speckled... HE iS ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
