Walking in a local wooded park I startled this heron and managed to get a few photos before it disappeared over the trees. Not the best quality, but there hasn't been much to shoot around here lately.

Looks like a great shot to me. They can be startling when they burst from the ground, letting out a loud "cronkkk" - I've yet to have the presence of mind to get a shot anywhere near as good as this. John
