Goodbye Smokey

In Our Garden

Smokey has lost his battle with kidney disease. I took this photo of him this morning while he
enjoyed his favorite spot by the waterfall for the final time. Today has been one of the saddest
days of my life, he's been my special little pal for almost 16 years.

16 is a very very high age for a persian.
I thought I just got my youngest cats, now they´re 9 and 10 years old.
Pets lives are too short...

Oh Sayer, I'm so sorry. I lost two cats to kidney disease in the last 4 years and they were only youngsters :(
