Hungry Raccoons

Plymouth, Michigan

Friends of ours have up to a dozen raccoons visit each night... we just had to go and see them.
They were quite timid, I had to sit on the ground and wait for several minutes before they approached.
It was quite dark, making for difficult shooting conditions. Used ISO 2500 and relied on the flash.

Scroll down to see two more raccoon photos taken the same night.

At first they were a bit unsure of the flash, each time I took a photo they ran and hid in a tree:

This raccoon was determined not to share any food with the others, and had a great blocking move:

Superb series of them in these excellent night shots.
They are quite the sight....hmm, it must have been the night I sent my 'shy' family
over there.lol Though I've never been able to get a decent night shot of them.

Hi Joe! I used the noise reduction tool in Paintshop Pro 10.
My photo processing techniques are not very sophisticated.

ISO 2500? What NR software do you use?
