Wasp in Hiding

Heritage Park, Farmington Hills, MI

The rain stopped for a bit so we got out the macro gear.
While wandering around we discovered many of these wasps sheltering from the rain.
This one did not seem very happy to be discovered, but wasn't going to leave its safe haven.

Agree with Linda; always enjoyed your insect shots. They were among your first photos a few years ago. Used to love the ones from your back garden. We miss the "old days".
