Thirteen Lined Ground Squirrel

Willow Run Airport, Michigan

This little ground squirrel could not figure out why its normally quiet field was suddenly full of people and loud airplanes in the sky.
The markings on its back were so striking and unusual.

Very unusual markings Sayer, I don't think I have ever seen one this striking, neatly hidden as well, great shot...
