Use of a macro lens and extention tube plus 2X extender
These photos show the results of using a 50mm macro lens which can make one half life size shots directly together with a 25mm extension tube (which allows a magnification of 1) and combining this with a 2X telephoto extender. The photos are all of a millimeter scale and therefore show the magnification, M. By reading the image and knowing that the camera sensor is 17.3mm wide the magnification can be computed as 17.3mm/(image scale in mm). Also shown are corresponding depth of field shots made using the scale on a 45 degree incline.
