The sun finally came out. It had been raining for the last few days.
Suddenly, we had so many things to do. It would be a good day to wash clothes, climb mountains and visit lots of places.

One of the strange phenomenon that greeted us early in the morning was the circular rainbow around the sun. We could never see this in Singapore, or maybe I never noticed it. The village head brought us to the padi field to have a look at how the farmers work. Each plot of land belongs to a family. They were all so co-operative, helping one another transfer the young seedlings in the field. On our way back, we saw a bio-gas tank near the field, feels like some kind of outfield toilet.

At night, we continued teaching the children English and they kept streaming in to learn from us, including the secondary school children. However the study mood was interrupted by the sound of fireworks. This is the first time that I actually got so close to the fireworks. Too bad I did not get a chance to touch them, as I was busy setting up my tripod and camera to take some photos in this terribly bad condition. Singapore banned explosive substances, and here we are, enjoying every moment, setting off the fireworks ourselves.
