Geweldig! Deze zal ik niet gauw vergeten.
En Phil weet zo mooi te verwoorden waarom.

You break loose here from conventional imaging and take us to a place we have never been, Saskia. It is a triple incongruity -- you make the eye incongruously large by moving in to make a Macro of it, remove skin tones to dehumanize it, and then change the nature of the pupil itself so that it looks like jewel and reflects the earth within the core of it. The more we look, the more hypnotic it becomes. It is an incongruous abstraction that turns the eye into the world -- an amazing, unforgettable image. Keep pushing the envelope -- explore, interpret, and express ideas with your camera! Good luck.

Such three dimensionality to the eye. Your selective coloring and (I think) blurring worked magic here.
