This picture is important for two reasons.

1) The van. Cindy's van died on their trip to Minneapolis.
They were in Wisconsin when the poor old van just gave out and they had to buy a new one.
Thank goodness!! Some of the country we drove through we didn't see anyone for MILES!!
Stow-and-go seats are the greatest invention!!

2) The U-Haul trailer. There were five of us, and we knew we couldn't fit
gear and people and food for two weeks in the van so we rented this little baby.
Note to self: These things can haul a lot of crap.
Just don't expect them to keep out the Kansas & Nebraska farm road dust.
