These are photos from our trip to the Chicago Basin in the Weminuche Wilderness in August of 2008. All I can say is this is truly a backpacker's life-lister and well worth the "crowds" - or crowds so far as backpacking goes. We saw no more than 20 people (most of whom we didn't speak to) and one dog (who we did speak to.)
