It wasn't quite this gorgeous from around the Palmer area last night, but it was certainly beautiful. I'm new to Alaska, my birthday's the 13th, and I was happy to spend from midnight until about 4am cruising the lower Mat Su valley to get any and all views of this spectacular display, which is for all practical purposes the first I've ever seen
