Yes this one was a converted Wooden box car built in the Squamish Car shops in december 1956. I don't remember the old cpr number the boxcar had on it but they moved the bolsters 26 inches toward the center to make room for the steps. these cabooses were only placed in work train service as the steel cabooses where constructed and put out to service and only on of them made it to the two tone green paint the rest were painted cn work train orange

Hope you can help Is the caboose one of the ex CP 36'boxcars that the PGE converted to worktrain cabooses/cabeece?.I'm trying to model the BCR in the "Dogwood" era and a lot of the old PGE stuff was still in use.Unfortunately Info Is rather thin on the ground here in Scotland.
