San Miguel de Allende is a Colonial town in Central Mexico, founded in 1542. It was declared a national monument in 1926. New construction was restricted at that time, so the town has retained much of its original beauty. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
There is also a separate Gallery of photos related to the Day of the Dead Celebrations.
