These images were taken at the Martin Mere reserve in Lancashire, during a get together with a few other photographers from another forum (photography-on-the.net). A great day was had by all, despite the weather being dull and showery.

Martin Mere is a wetland nature reserve, run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, with a collection of Wildfowl from around the world as an additional attraction. I was lucky enough to get some shots of a kingfisher at this event, although not of the best quality as it wasn't really near enough. It may be some time before I get another chance to add some shots of this gorgeous bird to my portfolio, so I will add these to the end of this gallery in the meantime.
