I am currently engaging in some experiments with converting photographs into 'paintings', to create 'photo-art' (phart for short) images. I have dabbled before, however I want to build a collection of these and open a PHART gallery on PBase.

For todays dabble, I chose an old pic from the 2004 railfest at York which I thought would lend itself to the treatment. I decided to go with an oil painting effect and I am quite pleased with the result. If you want to see the original image, it is in my 'York Railfest' gallery.
