PHOTOSHOP TRIAL

I wanted to experiment with techniques for correcting poor skin tones today, as I am getting back into glamour shoots shortly. I picked a scan of a slide that has suffered badly over the years, and was a bit underexposed to start off with. The idea was to see how much of an improvement I could get as practice for working on usable shots. In the end, I was happy enough with the results that I decided to put it in my gallery, along with a couple more I salvaged the same way.

I am interested in all opinions of this shot, do you think the eyes are over brightened? The white seems a touch overdone on this one, to me, I did the others a little less strongly. All comments are of interest as I want to get it right, for future work.

OK, how bad was the original? Well, here it is before I started working on it:

If you want to see the others I did, from the same batch, click on this thumbnail to go to the gallery I put them all in:

Please leave any comments, good or bad, this is a learning experience for me. Thanks.

not bad graham. very glamour like.
just a couple of things: firstly, the eyes could be a lot whiter...she looks jaundiced.
secondly, there is a mixture of skin tone colours on her face...a bit distracting. not sure about the original light source but that can also be corrected by pp. good luck and they are just my opinions. :)
