This statue is actually in the yard of an 'architectural antiques' business, along with many other statues. This was my favourite of all the pieces in the yard and, fortunately, it was in the corner, giving a clear background. I had to airbrush out a bit of a fence and gate behind him, but otherwise his backdrop was ideal. I also did some ultra wideangle shots of him, on 35mm, as part of a testing roll in a camera that hasn't ben used for several years. If the camera worked OK, I should have a more dramatic shot still to come, watch this space :-)

I really liked this piece and would have loved to bring it home with me, sadly it wouldn't fit in the car!
