All of these were taken with the E-10 in the late afternoon, just as the sun was setting on the horizion. I was driving along a dirt road and came upon this open field. The low angle of the sun made for some interesting lighting. All of these images were taken in macro mode, auto-focus, spot metering, and hand-held. Most were taken in aperature-priority mode, with an attempt to stop down as much as the light would allow for greater depth of field. Comments and critiques are welcome.
As for the frames, I have an action series for PhotoShop that does these automatically. I do not remember where I got them, but they are called Mick's Frames. Send me an e-mail at sandman3@charter.net and I will send you the action file if you like.

Think your photos are great, very nice shoots.. How do you get the white frams around your photos???

Your doing fine. Actually I normally want less depth of field so the distracting back grounds are completely out of focus. OOF is sometimes simply movement of the subject, flowers do that very easily. The Daises are all "Ox-eyed Daisy," The Buttercup is a "Tickseed Coreopsis." Sometimes I will use the AUTO flash even if in bright light as it changes the exposure and the back ground will often go very dark.
Hint - bright yellow is very hard to get right, usually burns out to white. Under expose by 1/3 to 2/3 stop.
I started collecting wildflowers (photographically) around my area about 2 years ago and so far have 137 identified and 22 don't know what they are. I mostly use the MCON but also +7 close up lens as some flowers I have found are about 1/4" across.
