Image with selective sharpening complete. See the next image for some cosmetic touch-up using the healing brush on a duplicate layer. To keep the image looking realistic, I used the opacity slider on the duplicate layer to "fade" the healing effect to achieve this final version. Comments?

Hey! Nice tutorial. The only thing I would add is a gaussian blur of the layer mask when finished. Without that step sometimes the edge of the mask is visible as a sharpening edge. The gaussian blur just softens that edge.
