The background is illuminated by a single 430EXII with wide angle screen extended, mounted on a FLEX TT5 on a lightstand. The Honl rust filter covers the flashhead. Note the bright light illuminating the subject's cheek on camera left. This is called SPILL or BLEED and is coming from the background light.
