Thirty A is the name of the highway that winds down the Gulf of Mexico between Destin and Panama City Beach, Florida. Once just a number of small villages, it is now a continuous string of quaint seaside communities, comprised mostly of mid-to-upscale holmes. We vacationed here the week of June 8th, 2002 and these are my photographic impressions of the area. Al were taken with the Olympus E-10 and had minor adjustments made in PhotoShop. Critiques, questions, and comments are all welcome.
Loved your gallery on Rt 30A. I was stationed in Basin Bayou to teach Ranger School in the summer of '67. That is the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Lucky you.

A great gallery. Your coverage of the thirty-A trip is marvelous. I share a lot of your interests and will hope that I can put together some of my galleries in the near future. I'm still sorting out all the complexities of the digital genre and am amazed at the possibilities. Thanks for sharing. Lloyd

Sandman,
Thanks for the wonderful vacation...even if it was on a computer! The beach shots are my favorite...looks like you have the E10 down!
